Vanguard in Session

The National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) will launch a new exhibit on January 16 titled "At the Vanguard." The exhibit will explore the rich artistic history and spirit fostered within five HBCUs: Clark Atlanta University, Florida A&M University, Jackson State University, Texas Southern University, and Tuskegee University.

From the NMAAHC: "Featuring over 100 objects from the collections of five universities, At the Vanguard explores their diverse practices in the arts, dynamic academic programs and innovations, and groundbreaking activities on and around their campuses." Learn more here.
