The Tomb of Amenhotep III Reopens after 20 Years

The 18th Dynasty Pharaoh, Amenhotep III, ruled ancient Kemet from approximately 1390 to 1350 B.C., and was buried in the famous Valley of the Kings. The reopening, according the the Associated Press, is part of Egypt’s efforts to "...attract more foreign visitors to revive the tourism sector, a major source of foreign currency." Amenhotep III was the grandfather of King Tutankhamen and husband of Queen Tiye. You can learn more HERE.
