"Black Perspectives, the award-winning blog of the African American Intellectual History Society (AAIHS), is hosting a roundtable on Holly A. Pinheiro Jr.’s  The Families’ Civil War: Black Soldiers and the Fight for Racial Justice (University of Georgia Press, 2022). The roundtable begins on Monday, January 9, 2023, and concludes on Friday, January 13, 2023. It will feature pieces from Brandi C. Brimmer (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), Robert Greene (Claflin University), Barbara Gannon (University of Central Florida), and Hilary Greene (University of Alabama).
